Pakistan Railways has launched another train service from Islamabad to Karachi to facilitate passengers of the twin cities.

The newly launched Tez Rau Express left Islamabad Railway Station at 1020 hours for Rawalpindi Railway Station and from there to Karachi at 1100 hours.

The passengers had reserved their seats online from Rawalpindi Station and so far no specific quota had been allocated for Islamabadites.

Earlier, Pakistan Railways launched Margalla Express from Islamabad to Lahore soon after the re-opening of Islamabad Railway Station about a month ago.

The Railway department is hopeful of success of the service, as it would facilitate university students as well as the residents of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

Till the second-day of the launch of new service, no one from Islamabad availed the facility for Karachi.
