LAHORE: The man accused of orchestrating the gun-and-bomb attack in Lahore on May 27 is a resident of Bhakkar, Dunya News reported on Monday.
According to the channel, the accused, Asif, confessed that his brother was employed at an ‘important’ institution. He said he (Asif) had visited Afghanistan four times to receive military training.
The channel said law enforcement agencies had beefed up security at important places and buildings in the city after investigating Asif.
The attack in Lahore killed 27 people and injured another 326, in addition to destroying a two-storey building of the Rescue 15 police service.
