LAHORE: The National Highways and Motorways Police (NHMP) launched on Sunday a week-long programme to educate motorists about the dangers of driving when deprived of sleep.
The campaign, initiated on the directive of NHMP Inspector General (IG) Dr Wasim Kausar, was launched on the motorway’s M3 section by NHMP Chief Patrolling Officer Malik Asghar and NHMP Administrative Officer Iftikhar Venis. NHMP Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) Nasir Mahmood Satti monitored the campaign that advised motorists to ensure that their vehicle’s rear lights worked properly.
