The CPUs of around 30 computers of Government Boys Secondary School Keamari are nothing but empty boxes, since someone has taken away their hard disks and other accessories which might bear some monitory worth.

These computers were handed over to the school management in 2003, and were the latest version of the computers at that time. A lab was also set up for these computers, and an instructor was appointed to impart computer training to the students whose strength was said to be around 450 at the time.

It is learnt that the instructor left the school after one year of his appointment, however, he is still on the school payroll and drawing his salary regularly. Interestingly, the parents of the enrolled students are required to pay computer education fee as well although no such education is being imparted these days. —QT
