LAHORE: The Punjab government has directed all the cable operators to stop running dance channels to avoid action against them, reported Geo News. According to the channel, the Punjab government took this step after receiving a number of complaints against cable operators playing the semi-naked dances. The channel reported that the provincial government had also decided to bound all producers of stage plays to seek government’s permission before staging their dramas.
