Construction in Zone-I banned
ISLAMABAD: Capital Development Authority (CDA) has warned developers of housing schemes and people against construction in Zone-I sectors of the capital, saying any type of construction, sale and purchase of plots in the zone is illegal. CDA Deputy Director (General, Planning-II) Ghulam Sarwar Sindhu said in a statement said sectors D-14, C-14, H-13, F-13, E-13, D-13, C-13, F-12, G-12, I-17, H-16, C-16, C-15, H-14, G-14, F-14 and E-14 of Zone-I fell in the limits of the capital. Therefore, he said construction and business of plots was prohibited in those sectors. Meanwhile, the CDA officials said the authority had planned to launch an operation in the aforementioned sectors to demolish illegal constructions. online
