LAHORE: More than two-thirds of Al Qaeda plots threatening the UK are linked to Pakistan, Prime Minister Gordon Brown said on Sunday. Writing in the Observer, he said the core of the extremist group has shifted from Afghanistan to Pakistan. “We know that there is an Al Qaeda core in northern Pakistan trying to organise attacks in Britain.”
