KARACHI: NADRA Technologies Limited and MCB Bank signed an agreement to provide online banking facility to the e-Sahulat franchisees across Pakistan.

MCB Bank, under the agreement, through its 750 online branches will facilitate NADRA’s e-sahulat franchisees to recharge their accounts.

NADRA Deputy Chairman Tariq Malik addressing the ceremony said that NTL has successfully managed 32 million transactions with cash inflow of Rs18.9 billion so far. Current monthly cash inflow is around Rs3.5 billion and this traffic can be grabbed by MCB bank with smooth and efficient services.

MCB Bank Group Head Whole Sale Banking, Muhtashim Asahi said that MCB Bank will provide MIS alerts against transactions carried at any of the Symbols branches through secure and automated process.

E-Sahulat architecture allows utility bills to be paid from anywhere in the country, giving enormous flexibility to the customers. Beside bill payment, scratch cards of mobile phones and calling phones can be obtained and particulars of any citizen can be verified.
