A meeting was held at the Defence Housing Authorityís (DHA) Main Office on Monday to review development projects for Katchi Abadis in the Cantonment Board Clifton (CBC) area.
DHA Administrator Brig. Khalid Tirmizi, chaired the meeting, which was also attended by CBC CEO Zeenat Ahmed. Brig Tirmizi asked the CBC officials to focus on development works for improving water supply, sewerage, sanitation, road repair and public amenity facilities in the slum areas of the CBC. He added that no stone should be left unturned to provide residents of Katchi Abadis with basic civic facilities.
The meeting approved various development projects for Kutchi Abadis, including the construction of a water filtration plant, laying of a new main water supply line and installation of an air-conditioner at the CBC Dispensary in Bukshan Village.
