LAHORE: Germany has accepted the release of nuclear scientist Dr AQ Khan, declaring it a court decision, a private TV channel on Saturday quoted the German ambassador as saying in Islamabad.
According to the channel, German Ambassador Michael Koch said release of Dr Khan was a court decision and the world should accept it. He said Pakistan needed access to the international markets instead of aid. He said Pakistan would have to improve its security situation to promote trade and investment. Germany would double the aid to Pakistan in the next two years, he added.
