Taliban release Chinese engineer
LAHORE: The Taliban on Saturday released a Chinese engineer they abducted from Dir on December 3 last year, saying it was a ‘goodwill’ gesture, a private TV channel quoted its sources as saying. However, official sources did not confirm the Chinese engineer’s release, the channel added. The channel’s sources said the Chinese engineer had reached Peshawar after his release. daily times monitor
