Spirited Pakistan women go down to Sri Lanka in Bangladesh

LAHORE - Pakistan women cricket team, which just yesterday overwhelmed Bangladesh, went down fighting against Sri Lanka in the second match of the Tri-nation Women Cricket Series being played in Dhaka.
Reports received here said that put into bat, Pakistan crawled to 103 in 41.5 over before surrendering Senaviratne, whoc took three wickets for 26 runs in eight overs. Arman Khan with 254 was the highest scorer of the Pakistan side while seven players did not reach double figures.
In reply, Sri Lanka after poor start managed to get the easy total in 30.4 overs but in the process lost seven wickets. Had Pakistan batswomen given enough runs to fight, its bowlers might have got another win.
