It is necessary to positively channelise the talents of our youth, as we are fortunate that there is no dearth of talent and creativity in our country.

This was said by renowned TV compere and host Ayesha Sana, who was invited as the chief guest at the Annual Student Show of JS Public School, Chaklala here Tuesday.

“Teachers play an outstanding role in grooming and shaping the overall personality of children, whose potential talents will only be evident if they are nurtured with love and appreciation,” Ayesha said.

The hall was decorated to welcome the spring season by using all the relevant colours in the backdrop. The programme started with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran. Students dressed in colourful attires presented folk dances, songs, skits in Urdu and English, dramas and ‘Qalam-e-Iqbal’, and made good use of the stage, acted well and collected accolades of appreciation from the audience.

Later, awards and certificates were distributed among the participants of the Space & Technology Exhibition and computer project. A certificate and award were also given to the student, who had stood third in the All Pakistan Federal Board Badminton Tournament.

The chief guest appreciated the efforts of Principal JS Public School & College Air Cmdr Mohammad Naseer, Vice Principal Mrs Col Zareen Kamran, teachers and students for holding such a lively programme through joint efforts.
