In response to a point of order raised by Bhutto, Provincial Minister for Revenue Jam Saifullah Dharejo said that the Sindh government has made it obligatory for the CDGK to get permission from the Provincial Revenue Department before demolishing villages in the city. Bhutto had informed the house that CDGK was planning to demolish localities in Mawach Goth and the government should restrain it. Clarifying Dharejo’s statement, MQM parliamentary leader, Sardar Ahmed said that the permission obtained from Revenue Department would be for revenue land. staff report
