LDA told to kick encroachers out of the City

LAHORE: Punjab minister for Special Education Malik Iqbal Channar has directed the Lahore Development Authority and Revenue department to ensure eviction of encroachers and land grabbers from the properties of private owners, to provide relief to the affectees.
Holding an open kutchery at 3-Club Road here Friday, the minister heard public complaints and issued necessary directives to the concerned government departments for their resolution.
He assured the people that their problems will be resolved, and said that thousands of applications and appeals have been processed so far by the Chief Minister's Complaint Cell.
The majority of complaints in the open court on Friday pertained to LDA and Revenue, Education and Police departments.
