The tenders for the development work of Sector E-12 have been opened, disclosed Capital Development Authority (CDA) officials.

During the first phase, service roads of north and west of sector E-12/2, and drainage system will be constructed at a cost of Rs70.15 million. In this regard, a meeting was held which was attended by all the high-ups. The meeting reviewed the progress of different ongoing projects particularly the development of different sectors in Islamabad.

During this meeting, Chairman CDA Maroof Afzal was briefed that Rs121 million have been allocated for development of sector E-12. Several companies took part in tendering process and the lowest bid for the project was Rs70.15 million.

It is decided in the meeting that the contract of the development work will be awarded to the lowest bidder.
