The Capital Development Authority Development Working Party (CDA-DWP) has approved PC-1 of six development projects.

The development projects would be completed with an estimated cost of Rs1,114 million. CDA-DWP approved these projects during the 38th meeting. It is also decided during the meeting that CDA would finance all these projects through its own resources.

The dualisation of Atta Turk (West) Avenue from Khayaban-e-Suharwardy to Khayaban-e-Margalla would be completed, with the construction of a new two-lane carriage way. Moreover, it is also planned to construct shoulder along service road, footpaths and a drainage system.

Another project which was approved is the construction of 2nd carriageway for roundabout of Service Road (West) Sector G-10 of Kayaban-e-Iqbal. This carriageway will facilitate traffic coming from the sector G-10, G-11, F-10, F-11 and other adjoining sectors.
