ederal Minister for Planning & Development Ahsan Iqbal gave detailed briefing to the PM Nawaz Sharif on a number of ongoing development projects and regarding performance of the Ministry of Planning and Development.
The PM appreciated the efforts of minister regarding capacity building of the Ministry’s officials due to which ministry’s performance was enhanced. The PM also appreciated the transparent mechanism that the ministry of Planning & Development has adopted for its affairs.
He shows his satisfaction on the ministry’s overall performance especially the efforts of the ministry in adopting saving measures for multiple projects, which resultantly saved significant national exchequer. The PM emphasized that the fast-track process of projects' planning, monitoring and evaluation undertaken by the Planning Commission should be maintained.
