RAWALPINDI: The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has planned to expand Cricket Stadium Road to eight lanes. The road connects Agha Shahi Road to Murree Road.
According to RDA Divisional Commissioner Mr Zahid Saeed, an underpass will be built to make IJ Principal Road, Agha Shahi Road and Cricket Stadium Road signal-free. The project will allow the residents of the twin cities to use the 8-lane expressway to travel easily from Rawalpindi to Islamabad and vice versa.
