ISLAMABAD: Enforcement Directorate of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) continues with its anti-encroachment campaign.
Teams of Enforcement Directorate during anti-encroachment operations in Markaz G-11, Markaz G-9, near PIMS hospital and Margalla Narial area of Bari Imam confiscated two (02) trucks of encroached material and also demolished two illegally constructed boundary walls on CDA land. During joint operations in different areas of Islamabad, teams of Enforcement Directorate along with Islamabad Capital Administration (ICT) and Islamabad police confiscated eleven (11) trucks of encroached material.
These all operations were carried out with mutual consultation and cooperation of trader unions. Traders community have also been asked not to allow any encroachments in front of their shops and in verandas as these encroachments not only cause inconvenience to general public visiting these markets but also affect the business activities.
Teams of Enforcement Directorate, during other joint operations demolished illegally constructed rooms in Sector G-13 and Muslim Colony. Staff of Enforcement also carried out operations in Siniarri, Margalla Narial Area of Bari Imam and near Tarnol along the G.T Road and demolished illegally constructed walls on CDA land. During an anti-encroachment operation in sector D-12, staff of Enforcement Directorate also demolished an illegally constructed kiosk.
Administration and Estate Member, Amer Ali Ahmed has directed the Enforcement Directorate to continue the anti-encroachment operations on daily basis without any fear or favour till the complete elimination of encroachments from Islamabad.
