KARACHI: The first balloting of plots for Midway Commercial, Bahria Town, Karachi, was held at the site on Friday. The plots in the commercial area of the fast developing project were allotted through computerised balloting at a ceremony arranged at the Bahria Town, Karachi.
“We are doing the first-ever computerised balloting of commercial plots within six months of the announcement of the plan. I feel happy to reveal that we will hand over the plots in next eight months to the owners,” said the Head of Sales and Marketing Department of Bahria Town, Shahid Qureshi, on the occasion.
He expressed gratitude to the people for their trust and support. Giving the information about the Midway Commercial, Qureshi said each commercial plot covers an area of 30×40 square feet. “I want to thank each and every worker of Bahria Town, from project director to labourers, everyone has done his job and given their best,” Qureshi said praising his team for the good work.
Giving details about the project, Bahria Town’s general manager for construction gave a brief presentation about the development plans. He said Bahria Town is not only going to have a residential area, a mosque, a theme park, a hospital is also under construction.
Speaking at the ceremony, Bahria Town planners also informed how their clients are going to get world class facilities. “Our clients everywhere get power backup. We have proper town planning and our clients will live a secured life with all the facilities,” said Bahria Town Karachi Manager Security and Administration Nadeem Iftekhar while talking to The Express Tribune. He said the citizens of Karachi will see entirely different planning and infrastructure once the construction is completed. “Once the project is complete, the price of commercial plots will skyrocket,” he claimed.
