Islamabad - The Capital Development Authority (CDA) will complete development activities in Park Enclave housing project, which is equipped with all state-of-the-art facilities, in stipulated time.
Chairman CDA Maroof Afzal said this during a high-level meeting held here at CDA headquarters on Friday. The meeting reviewed the progress about the development activities in Park Enclave. On this occasion, Member Administration and Estate Amer Ali Ahmed, Member Engineering Shahid Sohail, project director of the housing project and officers of concerned formations of the CDA were also present.
Maroof Afzal expressed his satisfaction over the ongoing development activities in Park Enclave and said that a large number of applicants were participating in the balloting of plots in Park Enclave as the development work continued in the housing project at a good pace. He said that people were taking keen interest in Park Enclave housing project, which showed their full confidence in the CDA. He said that the CDA was providing opportunities to the public, particularly to the overseas Pakistanis, to participate in the balloting of plots in Park Enclave, adding that CDA had extended the date for balloting of plots so that the people got the opportunity to apply for plots in the luxurious housing project. The chairman was apprised that CDA had received resounding response from the public for plots in Park Enclave. He directed the project director Park Enclave to personally supervise the development activities and submit progress report on daily basis so that the development could be completed within due time to hand over the possession of plots to the successful allottees.
The project director apprised the Chairman CDA that development activities in Park Enclave Housing Project were at full swing and 40 per cent of earth work had been completed. He said that construction work on two underground and two overhead water tanks was in progress. He further informed the Chairman CDA that there were 44 small and large roads in Park Enclave, adding that work on 33 roads was in progress simultaneously. He informed that boundary wall around the Park Enclave had been completed; however, work on construction of check posts at four sites along the boundary wall was also in progress to ensure foolproof security of residents of Park Enclave.
The CDA is developing Park Enclave at the cost of Rs 1,240 million, which included construction of major roads, service roads, installation of streetlights, construction of footpaths, drainage system, water supply lines and its network, sewerage system, construction of small and large bridges and electrification work. The construction work on boundary line around the Park Enclave has already been completed.
