Dear brothers/sisters,
Looking to invest for 3 years in dha lhr ph9, 10 m file, since this is my first property investment, have no idea about file transfering system, will you shed some light on file system and also please recomend trusted consultants for buying a file since i am overseas and will only be in pak for a week. Thank you

If some one gives 4 kanal agri land to DHA Lahore in any phase master plan area he gets allocation of 1 kanal plot in future when he pays development charges in addition to giving his 4 kanal land to DHA.
In 1st step when land in taken over by DHA after all legal checks and work is done in about 2 to 3 month agri land owner get affidavit file. At that time agri land owner can assign any body to receive his lands allocation letter of 1 kanal plot.
In simple words 1st transfer of any allocation is done via an affidavit transfer where transfer cost is less than allocation letter transfer cost. After 1st transfer all affidavits automatically becomes an allocations letter where future further transfers are much more costly to new allocation file buyers.
1st transfer of this right to have 1 kanal plot after handing over agri land to DHA and end of legal work plus Qabza to DHA 1st transfer is done via affidavit and in land branch of DHA.All allocation letters transfers are done in proper transfer department of DHA.
A new buyer in DHA should always try to buy ONLY allocation files as their transfer is flawless more secure wel documented for buyers. In affidavit transfer it involves lot of trust from where we as a dealer buy an affidavit and no sale receipts/agreements are exchanged between buyers and sellers in affidavit transfer. We have seen minor troubles in 2 to 3 transfers in 100 transfers for affidavits but never see any problem in allocations transfers.
