Punjab Environment Protection Agency (Punjab-EPA) will conduct third party evaluation of Biodiversity Park in Murree before taking charge.

The environment department has organized a meeting on 26th November. District Officer Environment Muhammad Nawaz said that IUCN in collaboration with Punjab EPA, housing and forestry departments completed the project and it will be handed over to Punjab EPA.

Moreover, he said that 42 kanals are vacant and a housing scheme is already planned to be built there but the provincial government decided to protect the wildlife in the area and to turn into a Biodiversity Park.
