Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor, Sardar Mahtab Ahmad Khan has directed the concerned officials for timely completion of Peshawar-Torkham terminal project.
This project is said to facilitate the traders and local community and to promote trade activities in the region. He directed the officials while presiding over a meeting regarding Torkham terminal project. Several civil and military officials also attended the meeting.
Brig Inam briefed the meeting that the project would be completed at a cost of Rs250 million within 3 months. The governor directed the authorities to take certain measures to ensure facilities to the traders in order to complete the project within the given time.
KPK Governor further directed the authorities to take every measure for the establishment of a modern station at Torkham terminal, as this project will offer an opportunity to contribute in the development of economy at international scale. The project will not just offer an easy path way to traders but also facilitate local people with better facilities. Early completion will bring more economic opportunities for the local people.
