Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to develop a new blue area on the green belt adjacent to Kashmir Highway.
Sources said that the change will be made in the master plan in this connection. CDA will send the summary of this project to the cabinet division for approval. The process of expansion in Blue Area stands stalled since the last several years, blocking the promotion of commercial activities in the area. On the other hand offices, clinics, guest houses, beauty parlours are operating in the urban areas. In order to prevent non-conforming use, it is necessary that more commercial plots should be developed.
