Monday, October 06, 2014 - Islamabad—The Directorate of Enforcement of Capital Development Authority (CDA), would remove encroachments from all markets of the capital with in two months.

Talking to APP, Deputy Director General (DDG), Enforcement Asia Gul said that CDA has launched strict operation against the encroachers on the direction of Chairman Maroof Afzal.

She said that following the direction of Islamabad High Court to remove the Kachi Abadies, CDA has already removed three Abadies from the city adding that authority would also launch operation against the Kachi Abadi of H-11.

She said that Isalamabad Police and Islamabad Capital Territory Administration was fully supportin CDA in ongoing operation.

DDG said the markets of sector F-11 and F-10 has been cleared from encroachers. She said that authority also is conducting operation against non confirming and commercial use of residential areas.

Meanwhile, Enforcement Directorate of retrieved two kanal land from illegal occupants in Jaba Teli village.

Deputy Director General Enforcement Asia Gul said that the CDA continued its anti-encroachment operation in various areas of the city.

She said in Jaba Teli, illegally constructed boundary wall and two rooms on the state land was demolished.

She said the Enforcement Directorate team also carried out operation in Melody Market (Sector G-6) and removed encroachments from corridors and footpaths, which were causing inconvenience to the general public.—APP
