LAHORE - In order to safeguard the rights of prospective purchasers of plots and to eliminate chances of bogus transfers, Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has decided that no plot situated in any of its housing scheme could be transferred without getting clearance from LDA in the form of a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
Owners of plots in the LDA housing schemes have to obtain an NOC from LDA as a mandatory condition before selling their plots.
The NOC shall be valid for transferring a plot for a period of one year from the date of issue.
Applications seeking NOC, attested copies of transfer letter/ownership document(s) issued in the name of the owner, CNIC, Completion Certificate (if available) otherwise proof of valid building plan and application for issuance of Demand Notice for NOC will be submitted at One Window Cell of LDA.
Meanwhile, LDA has started handing over possession of plots, carved out on clear area of LDA Avenue-I Housing Scheme, after finalising development works in the scheme.
As a first step, possession of cleared plots of block C and D was being handed over to allottees/owners of plots. Lahore Development Authority has uploaded lists of clear plots on its website http://www.lda.gop.pk.
Allottees/owners of plots have been advised to verify their plot numbers from LDA’s website after receiving notices in this regard sent through post by LDA. They have been asked to personally come at 1st floor of LDA’s One Window Cell at 467-D-II, Main Boulevard, MA Johar Town, Lahore.
Building period for constructing houses on these plots was up to 30 September 2017.
