In a bid to eliminate traffic signals on Sharea Faisal, work for construction of PAF Flyover at the PAF Base Intersection has been taken up by the Works and Services Department of the City District Government Karachi (CDGK).
According to a CDGK news release, work on the bridge is progressing rapidly on both sides of Sharea Faisal in the areas of PAF Base Faisal and the work for the construction of central grid proposed in the central median of Sharea Faisal is now being taken up.
The schedule has been planned for execution of work from the night of Saturday (today).
For the execution of the aforesaid part of the work, one traffic lane on each side of the central median in a length of 100 metres up and down portions would remain closed from October 25 to November 10. All necessary precautionary measures would be adopted during the completion of the work at day and night hours for safety and smooth flow of traffic on Sharea Faisal.
