LAHORE :The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has decided to auction the tenancy rights of the rooftop restaurant built on the 10th floor of the Park N Ride Plaza, Liberty Market Lahore, for a period of 10 years.
The LDA officials said the decision was taken in a high level meeting. It was decided that the auction would be held on September 25, 2014 at the LDA Community Centre, New Muslim Town. Officials said the total space of the restaurant was 9000 square feet and the successful bidder would avail the facility of first six months’ rent-free use of the site.
Furthermore, Director General LDA Ahad Khan Cheema has directed all the directors concerned of the LDA to ensure their presence at the One Window Cell of the LDA at Johar Town head office for one hour daily in order to directly listen to the problems of the people.
He said these officers had been asked to remain present on the spot from 11:00am to 12.00 noon for easy access of applicants to them and for taking prompt action on visitors’ applications. Persons, visiting the LDA office, have also been requested to visit the One Window Cell from 8:00am to 1:00am daily for their day-to-day matters.
In view of the ongoing security situation, the LDA has directed all the officers and officials to display the office identity cards during the office hours, which was also compulsory for getting access to the office premises. All those officers and officials who have not yet obtained their employee cards have been advised to contact the Director Computer Services immediately.
All the guests, visiting to meet the officers, have been requested to inform about their arrival to the officer concerned upon their reaching the LDA and get entry slip from their host. Officers of the rank of Director or Deputy Director were only authorised to sign the entry slip for visitors.
