Lahore : The Punjab government has approved four development schemes at an estimated cost of Rs 786.711 million.

These schemes were approved in the 11th meeting of Provincial Development Working Party of current fiscal year 2014-15 presided over by the Punjab Planning and Development Board Chairman, Muhammad Irfan Elahi.

A spokesman of the P&D said that Chief Economist Dr Khalid Mushtaq, members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant departments attended the meeting.

The approved development schemes included appointment of A Consultant for Balochistan Institute of Cardiology, Quetta, Balochistan (PC-II) at the cost of Rs 26.936 million, Development of Master Plan for Jallo Park Lahore (PC-II) at the cost of Rs 3.000 million, Urban Sewerage and Drainage Scheme Pirmahal District Toba Tek Singh (PC-II) at the cost of Rs 313.021 million and Comprehensive Water Supply Scheme Kamalia City, District Toba Tek Singh (PC-II) at the cost of Rs 443.754 million.
