The Anti Corruption Establishment (ACE) retained five people, including two revenue officials and arrested one of them in case of fraudulent transfer of land.
An official said that upon direction of ACE Provincial Director Ziaullah Toru, a team headed by Local Circle Officer Shahid Adnan, investigated a complaint filed by Ms Hanifa Bibi regarding fraudulent transfer of her land.
He said that ACE Bannu Assistant Director Abdul Hai Baber supervised the investigation, which found that brothers of the complainant were involved in transferring the land of their sister illegally with the support of patwari by forging property documents.
The official further claimed that one of the accused persons had died while the other has been arrested by ACE Lakki.
