LDA auctions nine plots


LAHORE : A SHOP in the newly constructed Park and Shop Plaza and nine plots were sold at Rs 63.3 million in the open auction held by the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) on Thursday.

Officials said the sold plots included five commercial and four residential plots in different housing schemes. They said shop No.46, measuring 322 square feet situated on the upper ground floor of the Park and Shop Plaza, was auctioned at Rs 19.9 million whereas its reserved price had been fixed as Rs 19.32 million.

Five commercial plots of Johar Town were also auctioned on this occasion at a sum of Rs 17.743 million. Maximum bid was offered for the corner plot No 226, Block G-IV, measuring 2.82 marlas, which was auctioned at a sum of Rs. 3.79 million. Its reserved price had been fixed as Rs 1.155 million whereas it was auctioned at Rs 1.345 million per marla.

Four residential plots of Sabzazar Scheme were sold at a handsome price of Rs 25.666 million. Maximum bid was offered for plot No 32, Block-F, which was auctioned against a sum of Rs 10.746 million while its reserved price had been fixed as Rs 0.50 million whereas it was auctioned at Rs 0.525.

About 31 bidders participated in the auction where tough competition was observed. Per marla based price of these plots had been estimated by the approved Evaluators of the State Bank of Pakistan.

Meanwhile, Director General Lahore Development Authority Ahad Khan Cheema has ordered mutual transfer of Director Enforcement Faisal Shahzad and Director Recovery Muhammad Saleem Ahmad.
