CDA decides Kashmir highway expansion
ISLAMABAD: Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided for expansion of Kashmir Highway from Golra More to GT road.
The process of pre-qualification of construction companies has been completed in this regard. CDA has requested ministry of planning, development and finance to release the funds. The tenders will be invited after the funds are released.
Interchange will be constructed at Golra More. The existing 2 kilometer road from Golra More to G.T road will be upgraded to 10 lanes. This project will cost Rs 1 billion and it will be completed within 6 months. Railway bridge constructed over Golra More to Peshawar more section has been completed and has been opened for vehicular traffic.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will soon inaugurate Kashmir high way.
