Punjab govt approves 4 uplift schemes

Lahore - The Punjab Government on Wednesday has approved 4 development schemes of different development Sectors with an estimated cost of Rs. 1997.48 million.
These schemes were approved in the 1st meeting of Provincial Development Working Party of current fiscal year 2014-15 presided over by the Punjab Planning and Development Board Chairman, Muhammad Irfan Elahi, says P&D Spokesman.
Members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.
According to Spokesman P&D, the approved development schemes included: Widening / Improvement of road from Faisalabad By-Pass Km No.13 (Makuana) to Jassuana Via Chak No. 113./GB, 111/GB and 69/GB, length 17.03 Km, District Faisalabad at the cost of Rs. 240.087 million, Construction of Bridge Saroba Tehsil and District Rawalpindi (Revised) at the cost of Rs. 299.645 million, Widening / Improvement of Kahuta Karot Road via Khalool L=31.17 km District Rawalpindi (Revised) at the cost of Rs. 565.334 million and Widening / Improvement of Okara Marripattan Road length=29.36 Kms in District Okara at the cost of Rs. 892.414 million.
