QSP’s Area To Be Increased From 10,000 Acres To 15,000 Acres
Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Mr Shahbaz Sharif approved an increase in the area of Quaid-e-Azam Solar Park (QSP) in Bahawalpur from 10,000 acres to 15,000 acres in order to increase its electricity generation capacity from 1,000MW to 1500MW.
According to a handout, the chief minister was presiding over a meeting when he gave the approval. He also told the
meeting that small solar power projects would be set up at various areas in Punjab, and ordered the officials concerned
to conduct a technical study in this regard.
