Operation against encroachments underway
Tuesday, April 08, 2014 - Islamabad —On the directions of Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA), Mr. Maroof Afzal, the Enforcement Directorate is engaged in anti encroachment operation to retrieve the Capital Development Authority (CDA)land from illegal occupants in Bahara Kaho and Malpur Area.
Enforcement Directorate retrieved 50 kanal of CDA land during an operation on Monday. Enforcement Directorate has demolished seven illegally constructed block factories.
Shops and nurseries established at Capital Development Authority (CDA)land were also demolished. Similarly, the land illegally occupied by an owner of patrol pump was also got vacated during the operation.
In the meanwhile Chairman CDA Maroof Afzal has directed Enforcement Directorate to continue this operation to eradicate encroachments from CDA land without any favour or fear, in order to maintain the natural beauty of Islamabad.
