Metro Bus project to be launched on 23rd March 2014
RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi Commissioner Captain Zahid Saeed on Thursday said that the Metro Bus Service project would be launched on March 23. The commissioner said that meetings are being held on daily basis to work out modalities for starting the mega project. However, he said that news stories in the press are baseless and date of March 23 is final for inaugurating the billion rupees project. He said the ground-breaking ceremony is scheduled to be held at Nawaz Sharif Park, Arid Agriculture University Shamsabad or at the Flashman Chowk. The bus project would provide cheap and better transport services to the people of the twin cities.
