CDA to complete Kashmir Highway project by May 31
Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) would complete the construction work on Kashmir Highway by May 31.
Talking to APP an official of CDA said that four overhead bridges will also be constructed for the pedestrians on the highway. He said the construction work on the Kashmir Highway is in full swing, adding that two-kilometer long road on north side of the highway has been opened for traffic and other six-kilometer long track will be opened next month.
The protection work is in progress on both sides of the highway and work of installing signboards will start from March 15, he added.
Member Engineering and Environment Sanaullah Aman visited Kashmir Highway and said that speedy completion of the highway to reduce the motorists problems. He said every professional expertise should be utilized for speedy completion of the project without any compromise on quality and standard of work.
