Islamabad: Capital Development Authority Chairman Maroof Afzal on Monday visited Kashmir Highway to inspect ongoing construction and expansion work there. The CDA chairman on the occasion was briefed about the construction and expansion work.



The CDA chairman was shown the designs of bridges to be constructed on Kashmir Highway. He directed that bridges on the Kashmir Highway should be durable, strong and beautiful with innovative designs, which may add to the beauty and durability of the Highway.



Maroof Afzal directed for speedy completion of the task saying there should be no compromise on the standard of the construction work and the project should be state-of-the-art. He asked the concerned officials for the completion of the project within the stipulated time period and directed that the alternate passages should be provided to the motorists during the construction work to ensure flow of traffic on this important highway.
