RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) leaving the construction project of U-Turns on Murree road incomplete is now mulling over to start new project on Peshawar road (Mall road).
Details said, officials of RDA will deliver the briefing to the Cantt Station Commander on January 09, 2013 in regard to make Peshawar road as signal free avenue from Tarnol to Rawat.
As per RDA officials, estimated cost of Rs 50 million will be spent on the 5 U-Turns of Murree road from Faizabad to Mareer Chowk. These U-Turns will be made at Naaz Cenima Chowk, Saint Paul High School, RDA office and Mareer Chowk.
Incompletion of U-Turns on the main squares of the city will increase the difficulties for citizens. Public sectors have demanded from concerned authorities to take serious measures to restart the work on U-Turns.
