slamabad: On second day of open bidding of commercial plots on Tuesday, the Capital Development (CDA) auctioned 10 plots at different locations for Rs1.88 billion. This amount is in addition to Rs5.46 billion highest offers for six plots located lucrative locations on first day of auction on Monday.

Out of 10 plots auctioned on Tuesday, five plots measuring 50 square yards each are located in I-11/4. These plots were auctioned for highest bids of Rs405,000, Rs412,000, Rs426,000, Rs533,000 and Rs531,000 per square yards.

Two large size plots of economy flats in sectors G-11/3 measuring 5,044.44 and 4,444.44 square yards received highest bids of Rs105,000 and Rs96,000 per square yard, respectively.

Another plot for filling station in G-11 Markaz measuring 1,500 square yards was auctioned for Rs176,000 per square yards and would receive a total amount of Rs264 million.

The two other plots of sizes 711 square yards and 1,777.77 square yards were auctioned for Rs448,000 and Rs303,000 per square yard, respectively.

The auction was supervised by a committee headed by Member Finance Arbab Sher Bahadur and comprising of Member Planning and Design Waseem Ahmad Khan, Member Estate Mrs. Shaista Sohail, Deputy Director General Finance Zia-ur-Rehman Toor, Director Estate Management-I Ali Asghar, Director Estate Management-II Chaudhry Aslam, Director Public Relations Muhammad Asim Khichi.
