Islamabad – Investigating on the Anjum Aqeel Khan’s fraud case of Rs. 6 billion, the Supreme Court of Pakistan uncovers the allotment of 1-kanal plots for Rs.100 each, to the influential people.
15 influential people were allotted plots of 1-kanal in a posh area of Islamabad, against Rs. 100/plot. The market price of these plots is currently in millions. Moreover, the plots meant to be allotted to the Martyrs of Police force were allotted to the wives and children of Inspector Generals of Police.
Supreme Court has ordained to investigate Anjum Aqeel Khan, a relative of Ayaz Sadiq – Speaker Provincial Assembly and Iftikhar Ahmad – former MD, National Police Foundation.
Supreme Court has also cancelled the allotment of 156 plots which were allotted illegally to the higher police authorities, army officials and other influential people.
