ISLAMABAD: CDA personnel have been known for indulging in extortionist activities against small kiosks and vendors of city environs, sparking protests from the hapless community.
These vendors hailing from such adjoining environs as Rawal Town, Margalla Town, and others have expressed their concerns over notices delivered by CDA which restrict their vending business in residential areas.
Meanwhile citizens have expressed their concerns over mass encroachments on green belts and wide spaces, while CDA failure to provide basic amenities to citizens.
