LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Muhammed Shahbaz Sharif on Thursday said the government was determined to complete development projects in time.
"All resources are being utilized for rapid development of the province," he told a group of assembly members here.
He said a special attention was being paid to uplift of rural areas and substantial funds had already been allocated for this purpose. He said on-going projects being completed on priority basis while dozens others were in pipeline. He asked lawmakers to identify schemes of their respective areas that could benefit maximum number of people.
Shahbaz Sharif said he already had directed departments concerned to accomplish all on-going projects within current financial year.
The members eulogized development schemes undertaken by the Punjab government.
