THE University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore, has been placed at 592 among the top ranked universities of the world in the World Ranking of Universities 2008. According to a press release issued here on Thursday, a UET spokesman said it was an achievement for the university that it had got international recognition. It was further informed that only three other universities of the country, besides the UET, were included in the World Ranking 2008.
