The Government has decided to solve the disputed land issue worth Rs 50 billions with Defence Housing Authority (DHA), spreading over 4 thousands kanal. A high-profile committee will be developed on the return of Punjab’s Chief Minister, Shahbaz Sharif from China. Keeping in context the legal facts, the committee will present recommendations to the federal government regarding the cancellation or amendments in 2002’s executive orders of Musharaf’s reign.

The DHA included this land of worth Rs 50 billions in its boundaries by keeping in context the article 23 of 2002’s Chief Executive orders. This caused Punjab Government to loose a land of thousands Kanals and also triggered heavy financial losses to it.

For last three years, the Punjab Government has failed to get control over this area. This land is included in the Punjab Government’s jurisdiction, but DHA has included it in its boundaries.
