Islamabad: The district administration has imposed a ban on the construction of new houses in three sub-sectors of G-14 and one of G-15, the Deputy Commissioner’s Office said.



The sub-divisional magistrate (Saddar) has prohibited construction of illegal ‘kutcha’ or ‘pucca’ houses in the sub-sectors of G-14/1, 2, 3 and G-15/3, Islamabad, and prohibited transportation, loading and unloading of construction material in these sub-sectors under Section 144 of the CrPC for two months, with immediate effect



The order issued by the sub-divisional magistrate (Saddar) says that the land of villages falling in these sub-sectors has been acquired for the housing scheme of Federal Government Employees Housing Foundation and construction of any ‘kutcha’ or ‘pucca’ houses, improvement in the built-up property in these sub-sectors, for the sake of enhancement of compensation for the built-up property, is against the law. Therefore, construction of ‘kutcha’ or ‘pucca’ houses, transportation, loading and unloading of construction material in these sub-sectors is prohibited with immediate effect and the order would remain in force for the two months. The violators would be proceeded under the law.
