LAHORE : THE Lahore Development Authority (LDA) will not extend the permission for annual/temporary commercialisation on 48 roads where commercial activity has been allowed on permanent basis after 31st of December 2012. Owners and occupants of such properties can, however, get their properties permanently commercialised after the payment of requisite fee for this purpose.

Notices in this regard are being served on the owners/occupants of these properties for getting their properties permanently commercialised. It is to be mentioned that the commercial activity had been allowed on 48 roads, situated in LDA schemes, under Land Use Rules 2009.

The Lahore Development Authority has also decided not to extend the permission for annual/temporary commercialisation on roads other than 48 declared roads after December 2013.

All sorts of commercial activity will be banned on such roads after this date.

Meanwhile, the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) sealed the structures constructed on Plot No 534 Block G-One of M.A. Johar Town on account of the violation of the conditions of allotment on Wednesday.
