ISLAMABAD – Islamabad High Court on Thursday directed Capital Development Authority to issue allotment letters to the affectees of Sector G-13 as soon as possible.

Failure of Islamabad Capital Territory Administration to start development work in the sector G-14 within the due time prompted the affectees to appeal to Chief Justice Islamabad High Court to take stern action against officers backing land mafia.

Following the writ petition of affectees of sector G-13 of CDA, Chief Justice Islamabad High Court on Thursday called higher authorities of CDA to appear in person. Upon their arrival, court directed them to issue allotment letters and start development work in the secretor as soon as possible.

Allotees Action Group complained to the Islamabad High Court that housing foundation had launched sector G-13 for government employees some eight years back but development work could not be initiated so far. Action Group said that land acquisition collector did not make payment to the affectees after stay order first by civil judge and later IHC.
